Sathish Ningaiah is currently CISO for the New York City Department of Social Services (DSS). He is responsible for structuring and running the security program for one of the largest Social Services Agencies in the Country.

Sathish Ningaiah embarked on his IT career starting as a mechanical engineer working in the aerospace industry. He quickly fell in love with information technology and has spent many years working in the field of network security - from developing ROM code for defeating boot sector viruses during the early days to security evaluation of online trading sites for major financial institutions.
Over his career, he has achieved numerous milestones:
- Leading one of the country's larger social services governmental agencies as its CISO.
- developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies that protect the agency's data and reputation.
- being at the forefront of innovation, ensuring the agency remains on the cutting edge of Cybersecurity.
Sathish is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) as well as a GIAC Exploit Researcher and Advanced Penetration Tester (GXPN). He has a master’s degree in computer science from the New York Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
