Jill Burkholder is the Section Chief for JCDC Federal in the Cybersecurity Division of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). She joined CISA in March of 2022 and is responsible for engagement and sharing of operational cyber information with federal agencies. Ms. Burkholder has close to 19 years of federal government experience. Before joining CISA, Ms. Burkholder worked at the FBI in cybersecurity and as the Chief of Staff the head of Information Technology Branch. Prior to her work in IT, she was embedded with the New Zealand Government for several years working on the implementation of their new overarching security legislation. Ms. Burkholder graduated from University of California San Diego with a BSEE and obtained her MBA from Georgetown University.
